I'm keeping it with me in the shop, so that during breaks I can pick it up for a minute or two and keep my mind actively training muscle memory.
Some people say that Left-handed people should play all instruments Right-handed, they also say lefties have an "edge" due to control of the fretting hand. I disagree with this philosophy; fretting is mechanical muscle memory, bowing or plucking an instrument is an art that the dominant hand does best.
A friend gave this violin to me, it's a Scott Cao. She had posted on Facebook that she wanted to take it to a Pawn Shop to try and collect $20.... I couldn't let that happen. It's safe with me now and if she ever needs it back, I have it here.
